Lip blushing is a cosmetic tattooing technique that involves depositing colored pigment into the lips' skin to create a fuller, more defined, and enhanced appearance. At Silk Lash Lounge, your Artist can correct uneven shapes, even out natural color, and add color to spots that are lacking, providing a more symmetrical and vibrant look to your lips. Lip blushing can give your lips a subtle pop of color or a more dramatic effect, depending on your preferences, and it is an excellent option for those looking to improve the appearance of their lips without the need for constant reapplication of lip products. Our goal is to enhance your natural beauty and provide a long-lasting solution for beautiful, full lips.
At Silk Lash Lounge, our lip blushing services typically last anywhere from 2-4 years, depending on your lifestyle and individual skin type. Factors such as sun exposure, smoking, exfoliation, cold sores and dry lips can affect the longevity of your lip blushing. We recommend a touch-up session every 1-2 years to maintain the vibrancy and shape of your lip blushing. We use high-quality pigments and employ advanced techniques to ensure that your lip blushing remains beautiful and vibrant for an extended period. If you have any concerns or questions about the maintenance of your lip blushing, please feel free to contact us for personalized guidance and recommendations.
Yes, you do. The second session is crucial in ensuring that your Lips have the perfect shape, color, and density. During the first session, your Artist will create a base layer for your Lip Blushing, which will serve as the foundation for the final results. The second session is where we will make any necessary adjustments and touch-ups to achieve the desired look. Skipping the second session may result in uneven or patchy lips that do not match your skin tone or hair color. At Silk Lash Lounge, we want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your lip blushing, which is why we include your first follow-up appointment for FREE. This free touchup must be completed within 6-10 weeks after your initial session. If you don’t schedule within that time frame you will forfeit the free service and any touch-up after 10 weeks will be charged the full touch up price of $150.
