Classic Eyeliner Enhancement
A lash line enhancement is done with a tattoo machine, with a single needle. We use eyeliner black pigment to shade within the layers of your natural lashes. This gives a thin, natural eyeliner appearance, while filling in any sparse areas in your lash line without the need for pencil or liquid eyeliners. Your first touch up is included in your initial service price.

Permanent Eyeliner can last anywhere from 2-4 years depending on a few factors. The first factor is your skin type. If you have oily skin, your tattoo may not last as long as someone with dry skin. Another factor is sun exposure. If you spend a lot of time in the sun, your pigment may fade quicker than if you stay out of the sun. Lastly, the aftercare of your tattoo plays a big role in how long it will last. It's important to follow the aftercare instructions given to you by your Artist to ensure the best results.
While Cosmetic Tattooing is suitable for most clients, it is important to consult with a professional before undergoing the procedure. Some factors that may affect the outcome of the treatment include skin type, skin tone, and existing hair. Your experienced Artist will assess your individual needs and recommend the best technique for you. We also offer complimentary consultations to help you make an informed decision. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
Please read the contraindications carefully. If any of the following apply to you, this procedure is not recommended...

You have a history of MRSA
You have psoriasis in the treatment area.
You have an auto-immune disease.
You have thyroid/graves disease (medication may cause pigment to not retain properly).
You have anemia (pigment may not retain properly).

** Please note.... even if none of the above apply, results cannot be guaranteed. This is a cosmetic tattooing procedure, the skin can be unpredictable, it is up to your skin to retain the pigment. Generally, results are successful, however, due to skin type, healing or bleeding during procedure, some results can differ**
Yes, you do. The second session is crucial in ensuring that your Permanent Eyeliner has the perfect shape, color, and density. During the first session, your Artist will create a base layer, which will serve as the foundation for the final results. The second session is where we will make any necessary adjustments and touch-ups to achieve the desired look. Skipping the second session may result in uneven or patchy results that do not match your target colour. At Silk Lash Lounge, we want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your service, which is why we include your first follow-up appointment for FREE. This free touchup must be completed within 6-10 weeks after your initial session. If you don’t schedule within that time frame you will forfeit the free service and any touch-up after 10 weeks will be charged the full touch up price of $150.
After getting Cosmetic Tattooing, it is normal to experience some redness and swelling around the treated area. The healing process typically takes about 2-4 weeks, depending on the individual's skin type and how well they follow aftercare instructions. During the first few days, the pigment will appear darker and more defined than the final result. This is because the pigment is still settling into the skin and the top layer of skin will begin to peel and flake off. It is important to avoid picking or scratching during this time, as it can cause uneven healing and potential scarring. It is recommended to avoid intense exercise or sweating for at least a week. Sun exposure, swimming, and saunas, topical lotions, and makeup should also be avoided for at least 3 weeks. Overall, it is important to follow the aftercare instructions provided by your technician to ensure the best possible healing and long-term results.
The level of discomfort experienced during the procedure varies from person to person as everyone has a different pain tolerance. At Silk Lash Lounge, we use a topical anesthetic to minimize any discomfort during the procedure. While some clients may experience slight discomfort, most report feeling little to no pain during the process. Your experienced Artist is trained to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of comfort for our clients. After the procedure, clients may experience some swelling and redness in the treated area, but this typically subsides within a few days. Your Artist will provide aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and minimal discomfort. Overall, cosmetic tattooing is a relatively painless procedure with minimal discomfort. Our team at Silk Lash Lounge is committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all of our clients.

If you have been on prescription Accutane in the past, you MUST wait at least one year before considering this procedure.
It is highly recommended that you avoid SUN and TANNING BED exposure for 30 days BEFORE and AFTER your procedure. If you show up for your appointment with a new tan or a sunburn, you will need to reschedule. As your skin exfoliates from a sunburn, it will take the pigment with it.
If you have existing cosmetic tattooing you need to contact me BEFORE booking your appointment.

You may fill in your eyebrows as you normally would so we can take into consideration the shape you desire.

Aftercare MUST be taken seriously. If you fail to take proper care of your new tattoo, complications such as infections, prolonged healing and patchiness may occur, all of which will effect the final result of your cosmetic tattoo.
ALWAYS wash your hands thoroughly before touching the tattooed area.
Gently wash the area each morning and night with warm water and gentle soap or unscented cleanser such as Dial Soap, Cetaphil, or baby shampoo. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the area.
Rinse well to ensure all soap is rinsed away.
Gently pat dry with a CLEAN tissue/towel.
DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or exfoliants.
Apply a tiny, rice grain amount of after care ointment 3 times a day with a cotton swab and spread it across the treated area for the first 3 days.
Be sure not to over-apply, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The product should be barely noticeable on the skin.

No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdemabrasion for 4 weeks.

Avoid long, hot showers for the first 10 days.
Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days.
